March into April 2026; Highlights

Sticking to a low key approach to our birding this year, most of our time at the end of March and during April was spent locally. We did however, have a couple of worthwhile excursions further afield to see some very special birds. 

March 2026; The Old Caley's Annual North Wales Short Break.

Our annual excursion to North Wales for a few days to celebrate Mrs Caley's big day. More a time of reflection this year and a low key break where birding wasn't the only thing on our minds. However, it was a good few days away. We always enjoy North Wales.

The month where we finally ventured out and took a holiday abroad to get some new birds on our horizon, and on to our lists.
